The Arlington Heights Memorial Library hosted its 16th Annual Film Fest on August 26th. There were over 15 submissions, each with  6-minutes of footage. Some submissions were movies while others took on the task of remaking music videos.  

These are the talented students of D214 who won:

Best Acting: The Sleepover – Cleo Puckett

Best Script/Storyline: The Summer Girls – Sophia Pederson

Best Camerawork/Editing: Lost – Xavier Lipani

Best Special FX AND Golden: The TV – David Petratos

Golden Clapper – Most Creative Location: The TV – David Petratos

Best Overall Film: Not a Girl – Allison Flondro

Audience Favorite: The TV – David Petratos

All of the films featured were unique and all of them were perfect in their own way. Thanks to all the amazing judges, library staff, volunteers, and the Arlington Memorial Library for a fantastic evening and another wonderful Film Fest.
