Rolling Meadows TMA Precision Machining Competition

RMHS students from our Manufacturing Program competed in the Annual TMA Precision Machining Competition. The TMA PMC is a competitive way for students to indulge in the usage of machinery. The competition itself is well known for being the most significant and effective initiatives for students who want to advance their career recruitment in precision metalworking. There were over 200 machining projects from 15 high schools that competed against our fellow Mustangs, and they battled it out against some of the top machining programs in the state. These students did an amazing job producing parts from raw material within tolerances of 0.005″.

We want to congratulate all of the students that spent countless hours perfecting their machinery craft for this very moment. We also want to congratulate the students who were able to take home some hardware on the way.
