CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, in which students get put into the shoes of IT professionals running the network of a small company. Recently, the RMHS Cyber Team assembled to analyze virtual operating systems as well as find and fix cybersecurity vulnerabilities through a set of online competition rounds. RMHS’s Cyber Team is open for anyone and everyone to join, experienced or not. Offering numerous educational resources to help learn about the Cybersecurity field, CyberPatriot is a perfect opportunity for students interested in becoming the future IT experts of our modern world. Though this event is quite difficult, students come together with a combination of teamwork, critical thinking, and most importantly – fun!
