Return to in-person at RMHS April 5th
Issued by the District 214 School Board, starting April 5, 2021, students will return to school unless they fill out an in-person exemption form. The form was due Monday, March 15 at 8:00 A.M. for those who wish to continue online learning for the entirety of the semester.
Students that are returning to in-person learning are required to return to all classes except seminar and study halls and will be expected to stay for the entirety of the school day. Since there will be more students in the building, it will be more difficult to socially distance. But the RMHS Staff will still try their best to keep students apart as much as possible to maintain safety protocols. Students will still be required to wear masks except when eating and drinking.
Sports and activities will resume according to COVID-19 protocol in order to keep athletes safe. Districtwide events will be determined on a case-by-case basis and will be judged based on the capacity of the event and whether the event is inside or outside.
