Homecoming 2022

Autumn is in the air and with it comes homecoming. From themed outfits all week to going all out glam at the dance, this year’s homecoming is going to be exciting.

The week of homecoming kicks off on Monday September 19 with pajama day as the dress up theme, and Chalk the Walk after school.

Tuesday is “Crazy Dress Up Day”, which means wear mismatched outfits and make sure to do some crazy hair. There will also be food trucks during lunches on Tuesday.

Wednesday includes a DJ and games during lunches and is titled “Neon Out” for the dress up theme.

Thursday’s theme is different for each grade level. On Thursday, the freshman can wear Hawaiian gear, the sophomores can wear sports gear, the juniors can wear anything wild-western, and the seniors can wear togas. Additionally, the staff can wear tie dye. The event for Thursday is bracelet making in the Student Council Office.

Finally, Friday is spirit day. Students and staff should wear their crazy sprit wear. On Friday there will be an assembly during school, and the Varsity Football game will be against Wheeling High School at 7 pm. After the game, there will be a fireworks show.

The theme “Under the Fluorescent Lights” sets the stage for the dance on Saturday, September 24. The dance will take place from 7-10pm. The dance is hosted on the RMHS football field.

Ticket sales will be September 15th -September 23rd during all lunches at the student council office in the South Cafe. All tickets will be $20. This year, as in recent previous years, there will be NO tickets sold at the door. Students are urged to buy tickets as soon as they decide to go!

Additionally, guest forms are available in the Attendance Office for any non-RMHS guests. You can bring other students after a waiver is signed by the deans at their guest’s school and ours.

The whole dance will be decked out with a DJ and with sparkling decor to match with this year’s theme. The whole homecoming week will be a fun way to celebrate all the RMHS students and workers and welcome them back for another great year.
