Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) vs. Cleveland Browns (3-6)

Well the Pittsburgh Steelers have proven to be quite the underdog, going from 1-4 in their first five games to 5-4, thanks to their most recent win over the Rams. Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has proven to be quite the weapon on defense, and although their offense seems to struggle, they’re getting things done. On the other hand, the Browns have been a huge disappointment talent-wise, with quarterback Baker Mayfield and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. underplaying through the first 10 weeks of the 2019 season. This game is going to be crucial for either team, but I have faith in the Steelers that they’ll continue their winning streak into Week 12 and take down the Factory of Sadness.

Sunday, November 17th

Dallas Cowboys (5-4) vs. Detroit Lions (3-5-1)

”America’s team” is coming off yet another disappointing loss. The Cowboys just haven’t been able to pull it together after losing to the Adam Gase led Jets. Detroit hasn’t looked much better 10 weeks in, and without their leader and best player Matthew Stafford, I can’t see the Lions winning. Driskel could keep it close if he limits the turnovers, but I think Dak, Zeke and Cooper (if healthy) will pull out a win.

DAL 24, DET 17

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-5) vs. Indianapolis Colts (5-4)

This matchup is going to be a brawl to the end. Both of these teams have shown signs of success throughout the season, but neither are top contenders recently, especially the Jaguars after their horrible 26-3 loss to the Texans. On the flipside, quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s injury has plagued the Colts, having to start backup Brian Hoyer and losing the past two games, one of which was to the Miami Dolphins. In the end, Nick Foles is coming back for the Jags, and that’s all I have to know in order to make this prediction, even against a solid Colts defense.

JAX 23, IND 13

Buffalo Bills (6-3) vs. Miami Dolphins (2-7)

Surprisingly, Miami scored 21 points against the Bills in their first meeting in Week 7.  They lost in the end, but scoring 21 points against the team was something no one thought the Dolphins would be able to do. Now in Week 11, after winning two straight games, will it be the week of the Dolphins? We don’t think so. But still, I wouldn’t say the Dolphins are gonna get blown out. The Bills, barely losing to the Browns, will want to redeem themselves and get a statement win down in Miami to keep it close with their rival Patriots.

BUF 27, MIA 10

Denver Broncos (3-6) vs. Minnesota Vikings (7-3)

The Minnesota Vikings have been quite the surprise this year, especially quarterback Kirk Cousins, who had a pretty rough start to the season. Since then, they’ve bounced back considerably and are coming off a nail biter against Dallas. The Broncos record fits them, as I don’t see them as a strong contender this season, especially going against an extremely powerful offense (yes, I’m talking about running back Dalvin Cook). I’m giving this one to the boys in purple.

New Orleans Saints (7-2) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-6)

I have so many questions about what happened last week to the New Orleans Saints. How did you let the 1-7 Falcons come into your own house and beat you 26-9? They were undefeated with Teddy Bridgewater, and when Brees plays his second game back from injury this happens? As for the Bucs, they squeezed out a win against the Cardinals even with Jameis Winston throwing two interceptions. I’m gonna give the Saints the benefit of the doubt and say it was just an off-week, but if I was a Saints fan, I’d be concerned.

New York Jets (2-7) vs. Washington Redskins (1-8)

Welcome to the official 2019 Tank Bowl, starring the desperate Redskins facing off against the ghosting Jets, who decided to take each and every glimpse of hope for their team and crush it themselves. With running back Adrian Peterson coming off a strong week against the Bills in Week 9, and quarterback Dwayne Haskins making his first career start, I have some hope for the boys in red – but at the same time, I don’t. I’m really not sure who to pick for this matchup, but I’m going to go with the Redskins, as the Jets recently lost to the Dolphins and barely beat the Giants.

Atlanta Falcons (2-7) vs. Carolina Panthers (5-4)

Hats off to Matt Ryan and the Falcons for going into New Orleans and dominating. I can’t tell if this was a fluke or not, but if their front seven can continue to suffocate who ever has the ball and even get half as many sacks as they had last game (six), I think it will be close. The Panthers also kept it close against the Packers, getting the ball close to the endzone and almost tying it up late in the game. McCaffery had yet another 100 plus yard performance and if he has another big game, Panthers take this one home.

ATL 16, CAR 21

Houston Texans (6-3) vs. Baltimore Ravens (7-2)

If you can’t watch any other game this Sunday, make sure to turn your TVs on or head to your local wing joint for this matchup. Here we will witness what could be one of the best games this season, with explosive quarterbacks on both sides – Deshaun Watson for the Texans and Lamar Jackson for the Ravens. Both of them have similar playstyles, with the ability to throw far and run just as far as well. With all this said, I feel like the Ravens have a stronger team overall, as their defense had a huge boost with the addition of cornerback Marcus Peters – therefore, I’m going with the birds for this one.

HOU 26, BAL 34

Arizona Cardinals (3-6-1) vs. San Francisco 49ers (8-1)

Poor poor San Francisco. They were right there, so close to getting to 9-0. They had a chance in overtime to win it, but their rookie kicker just cracked under pressure and sailed it into the tunnel. Beating the Cardinals on Thursday night in Week 9, they should have little to no problems Sunday afternoon.

ARI 10, SF 21

Cincinnati Bengals (0-9) vs. Oakland Raiders (5-4)

As the Oakland Raiders look to continue their hot streak, the Bengals look to fast track their way to the number one draft pick in 2020. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a team as disjointed as the Cincinnati Bengals, and that’s saying a lot (i.e. the 2008 Detroit Lions and the 2017 Cleveland Browns). I have no confidence left for the Bengals (not that I had any in the first place), but I have no doubt saying running back Josh Jacobs is going to absolutely tear up this defense, with quarterback Derek Carr having another solid performance and coming away with an impressive 6-4 record.

CIN 7, OAK 20

New England Patriots (8-1) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (5-4)

“tHe PaTriOtS dYnaStY Is OvEr.” Just stop it. Yes, they lost to a very good Baltimore Ravens team. However, they have Tom Brady, and are coached by Bellichick. Just because they lost a game doesn’t mean anything, the Pats are still the Pats and they are gonna take care of the Eagles. It won’t be easy since the Eagles are gonna be well rested coming off a BYE week, but Brady is gonna take care of business and handle the Eagles.

NE 26, PHI 20

Chicago Bears (4-5) vs. Los Angeles Rams (5-4)

Both of these teams had very successful seasons last year, but have severely underperformed in 2019 – not to mention both of their quarterbacks being hot garbage. Mitchell Trubisky has nothing positive about him, and neither does Jared Goff. This will be a defensive matchup, specifically Khalil Mack vs. Aaron Donald, something I’m very excited to watch. In the end, this will come down to the running game – can Gurley have a strong comeback week or will the Bears finally utilize their strong backfield? My money is on the Bears, oddly enough, but it’ll truly come down to the wire.

Monday, November 18th

Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) vs. Los Angeles Chargers (4-6)

KC came off a solid win against the Vikings. Coming off a bye week and playing against a lower tier team in the LA Chargers, I think Patty Mahomes will have a great day and control the game and improve their record to a solid 7-4.  Phillip Rivers is on the decline, and that’s gonna continue to show even against the mediocre Chiefs defense.
