NFL Week 8 Predictions

So a dip down from last week we went 9-4. We also came so close to predicting the Cardinals game on the dot. We predicted 31-7 and the game ended 31-5. So I count that as a huge dub in our books. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Green Bay Packers (6-1) vs. Arizona Cardinals (7-0) Thursday 7:20 PM

Probably the two hottest teams in the league. The undefeated Cardinals face off against the owner of Chicago and the Packers. Rodgers is in MVP form and Adams has reverted back to being the best receiver in the league. While Kyler has upgraded to MVP candidate and D-Hop is fighting Tae for who is the best receiver in the league. The Cards have gotten a surprisingly good output from the defense. While the Packers defense has been… ok I guess. I know I said I would never sleep on the Cardinals again but Aaron Rodgers is Aaron Rodgers. Hope for a good game and a Packers dub.

Packers 31 Cardinals 27

Atlanta Falcons (3-3) vs. Carolina Panthers (3-4) Sunday 12:00 PM

I won’t spend too much time on this game because I know none of you guys care. The Falcons are bad but the Panthers just lost to the Giants. I’ve been saying I can’t trust the Panthers with no McCaffery and I stick to that statement. Even if the Falcons defense is as thin as my wallet. So go Kyle Pitts and stuff.

Kyle Pitts 24 Panthers 13

Tennessee Titans (5-2) vs. Indianapolis Colts (3-4)

The Titans look really good. Like really really good. And I put that great play on the shoulders of King Henry. Oh and by the way, HE”S THROWING TOUCHDOWNS NOW. The best running back in the league is now the best QB in the league. I think the Colts looked great last week but this is a whole new level of good compared to the hospital that is the 49ers. Titans win a big divisional game.

Titans 31 Colts 20

Miami Dolphins (1-6) vs. Buffalo Bills (4-2)

Bills off of a bye. Give me the Bills.

Dolphins 6 Bills 35

Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) vs. New York Jets (1-6)

If I was a betting man I’d hammer the Bengals here. And I’m going to. But the Bengals have been too good not to talk about them. Joey B and his friend from Baton Rouge have been so incredibly good and this defense has been a force. I mean for christ sake Ja’marr Chase has the most receiving yards through 7 games of all time. So yes, the Bengals are going to kill the Jets and I would say Chase has over 125 yards and a TD.

Bengals 34 Jets 10

Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3) vs. Cleveland Browns (4-3)

The Steelers are bad. But the Browns have basically no offense and not much of a defense. You can maybe get away with that when playing the Denver Frauds but when it’s a much better team like the Steelers they should get killed.

Steelers 24 Browns 13

Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) vs. Detroit Lions (0-7)

Guys I’m going to do it. I’m going to say it. The Lions are winning this game. They’re at home, coming off a competitive loss to a good team and are playing a team with less talent than they do. This could be the week we win our first game. As Coach Taylor says in Friday Night Lights “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose!”

Eagles 17 Lions 20

Los Angeles Rams (6-1) vs. Houston Texans (1-6)

Texans. Bad. Rams. Good.

Rams 34 Texans 7

San Francisco 49ers (2-4) vs. Chicago Bears (3-4)

I really wish I could say the 9ers were going to win this game. But they are so injury riddled that I just don’t think they can play a solid game. And although I rag on the Bears a bunch, they are an average football team. And an average football team can beat a very injured team.

49ers 14 Bears 24

New England Patriots (3-4) vs. Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) 3:05 PM

The Pats looked really good last week. Mac Jones was firing all around the field and he was running. But they played the Jets. And the Chargers are a lot better than the Jets. The Chargers are off of a bye as well and they’re home too. The Chargers pros outweigh the Pats pros and that makes this game an easy one.

Pats 21 Chargers 34

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5) vs. Seattle Seahawks (2-5)

The Jags are coming off a bye which gives me the idea that they could come out of it ready to win. But their coach is also Urban Meyer. And even if Geno Smith is under center for Seattle, I trust him more than the Jags terrible defense.

Jags 14 Seahawks 21

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-1) vs. New Orleans Saints (4-2) 3:25 PM

I wish this was going to be longer than it is going to be. The Saints are still so shaky I can’t give them the benefit of the doubt against the probably best team in the league. Plus it’s Jameis Winston vs. Tom Brady.

Bucs 38 Saints 20

Washington Football Team (2-5) vs. Denver Broncos (3-4)

Wow this is a bad game. Two fraudulent teams face off in a battle to the death on who has the most false playoff hopes. I won’t make this too long. Washington is terrible. The offense and defense has collapsed. The Broncos although having no offense, have some sort of defense so that should push them to a win.

WFT 10 Broncos 20

Dallas Cowboys (5-1) vs. Minnesota Vikings (3-3) 7:20 PM

I love both of these teams. The Vikings are really good even without their best player on offense in Dalvin Cook. They have just gotten a little unlucky with their games. They should probably be around 4-2 or even 5-1. The Cowboys are really good. Well, offensively really good. I don’t see Trevon Diggs putting up the same numbers he is now all year. Past Diggs the team scares me on defense but I also know the offense will score at least 30 points. I think this game is going to be a shootout. And I hate to say it, but I think the Cowboys are coming out on top.

Cowboys 41 Vikings 30

New York Giants (2-5) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (3-4) 7:20 PM Monday

What a terrible Monday night game. Give me the Chiefs despite the struggles they’ve had. It’s the Giants.

Giants 17 Chiefs 34
