Splashing into the Water Polo Season
The Rolling Meadows Water Polo team has been building for several years. After the Covid shutdown two years ago, they lost several talents that did not want to venture out to the pool again, but one incredibly talented and tough freshman athlete had stayed dedicated to the sport. He came to practice almost every day, missing only when he went to his club Rugby practice. Sam Fowler took matters into his own hands and recruited many other talented athletes, ultimately leading the team to heavily improve and grow stronger. Although Rolling Meadows does not have a pool (yet), they stay motivated and practice weekly. This 2023 season they continue to build their team with several more incredible athletes. Their first game was Wednesday, March 8 against Schaumburg. Coach Taylor plans on “dominating the conference this season”, and is “looking forward to postseason play.” Swim on, Mustangs!
